A spectator selects any card and it is lost back in the deck.

You take off your hat and spring all of the cards inside of your hat.

When you turn your hat over, they see that one card and one card only has penetrated straight through your hat and is now impaled

beneath the little black dot on the top of your hat! 

Easy-to-make gimmick.
